Weber County Fair 2012

This year I entered 2 of my photos in the Weber County fair!  I have thought about doing it for the past few years, but with the help of my lovely niece I got motivated and did it this year.  And I have to say I am so glad that I did.  One of them got a blue ribbon - FIRST place!  The other got a white ribbon - third place.  Not too bad I say!  I have posted these photos on here before, but I will repost just the 2 that won. 

They put it sideways...but it still looks good!

This was a flower in a pot by our garage door, got to love the beauty in our own yards!

This was at the nature center in Ogden.  The bubbles were just there when we were walking around, not sure where they came from...which is why I like this one so much!

Totally going to enter again next year!!

Golden Slumbers

I absolutely LOVE the song Golden Slumbers by the Beatles.  I once said that if I ever had kids I would sing that song to them every night!!  I am not a good singer by any means, and I haven't sung it to them more than a couple of times (and I can never remember all the words when I do try to sing it!!).  So instead I thought I would turn a few of the words into a poster for my baby boy's room.  The design is all mine (a bit juvenile, but hey it's for a babes room!).  I think it turned out really well and I am really proud of it, so I thought I should share!

San and Kendra Engagements

My awesome and wonderful brother-in-law Sam is marrying the also wonderful Kendra.
